We perform the examination in simple and quick steps:

Preparation for the examination: It is preferable to perform the swab after the end of the menstrual period, and avoid marital relations and vaginal washes 48 hours before the examination.

Comfortable position: The woman lies on the designated bed, and the swab is performed in a comfortable female position.

Sample collection: The doctor gently inserts a small instrument (colposcope) and collects cells from the cervix using a soft medical brush.
